Breakout Session 1 (9:15)
TBD
Planning & Implementation
This session will include an overview of the basics of the bryt model intervention, evidence of its success, and how the bryt team helps schools start and continuously improve their bryt interventions. There will also be an opportunity to hear directly from a school/district about their bryt implementation journey. Time will be built in for audience member questions and thoughts as well as identifying next steps. Objectives: 1. Participants will be able to articulate the bryt model that provides trauma-informed clinical support, academic coordination, family support, and care coordination services to students who are transitioning back to a full schedule after a significant mental health disruption. 2. Participants will be able to articulate the role of a champion in the start-up of bryt interventions and identify potential assets in their own schools/districts that may serve as a basis for development of a bryt intervention. 3. Participants will be able to envision the clinical supports provided to students returning to learning after extensive disruptions due to significant mental health disruptions in their own schools/districts and develop an initial plan for working toward development of a bryt intervention.
