 Using a Customized AI Tool to Augment School Counseling in a High School Setting

This interactive workshop draws from sensory integration and occupational therapy frameworks to explore sensory equity as a foundation for emotional and academic readiness. Participants will learn to support regulation and autonomy by creating sensory-accessible, emotionally attuned BRYT spaces, assessing student needs, implementing targeted design changes, and measuring outcomes using observable indicators. Objectives: 1. Participants will leave with the knowledge of how an AI tool can augment school counseling. 2. Participants will learn how students felt about engaging with this type of support. 3. Participants will learn about the strengths and challenges as well as lessons learned, along the way of rolling out an AI tool to augment school counseling support.
